My name is Lacy Orange and I am an Education and Kinesiology student at the University of Regina. I started my program in 2015 after the realization of my interest in teaching in the summer of 2014. I have always enjoyed working with children, but I never imagined it would become my career one day. After high school, I pursued an abundant of paths that fulfilled other passions of mine. In 2012, I took a year of commerce at the U of S, and the following year, I went on the Charlottetown, PEI to pursue my love for baking and gained my Pastry Arts certificate. It was an unforgettable experience. After returning home, I worked for just over one year, and now here I am today. I can tell you with complete confidence that there is no place I’d rather be than on my path to becoming a high school physical education teacher. I am prepared for life to bring many twists and turns, as it never hesitates to do, and am ready to face them head-on. I have never felt more at home or more at ease than knowing I have chosen to become a teacher.
